“Stop Allowing People, To Take You To A Place, They Can’t Pray You Out Of”

Welcome to Oglatha’s TIE (Truth, Inspiration, & Empowerment)
After battling depression, rejection, low self-esteem, inner turmoil, and self-doubt, I’ve come to understand the power of God’s love and infinite wisdom. Even in my weakest, most discouraged moments—when I felt lonely, ugly, too dark, too big, or simply not enough—God kept pulling on my heart, showing me new strength, new power, and new purpose. His love and guidance have empowered me to encourage others, especially those walking through their own struggles.
This blog is not just about sharing my story or writing for the sake of writing. It’s about strengthening the broken, telling the truth to both believers and unbelievers, and empowering the lost, the forgotten, the lonely, and the ones standing on the edge—whether saint or sinner.
If we don’t speak the truth, how can we help others overcome?
I know that sometimes sharing our pain feels impossible. Often, we’re afraid that when we open up, others will prey on us rather than pray for us, advise us rather than listen without judgment. But I believe it’s through God’s love, a love that transcends judgment, that true change can begin. And that’s what I hope to offer here: a space where you can be you, where truth, love, and empowerment can lead to transformation.
Dr. Seuss said it best: “There is no one alive who is Youer than You!” And that’s the heart of this blog. So often, we hide parts of ourselves because we’re worried about what others will think—about our gifts, our talents, our hearts. We may retreat into isolation, afraid that we won’t fit in. This was me for so many years. I tried to be what others expected, even if it meant lying to myself. But I couldn’t fool God. He created me with a big heart, full of compassion and love. And I promised Him—and myself—that I would never be anything or anyone other than who He called me to be.
I encourage you to do the same. Embrace the truth of who you are. Be you—authentically, boldly, and without fear.
Welcome to Oglatha’s TIE. I pray this blog touches you in ways that lead you to live in love and truth, and that it empowers you to stand strong in who you were always meant to be.
